I am one thousand calories over my daily limit today. I was over yesterday as well. I am not looking forward to hitting the scale on Sunday.

I very badly burned my right hand and arm 5 weeks ago. Being Spring and the greatest demands on my time...it truly sucks. It will be 5 more weeks before I can use them...nominally. I'm out of shape and disabled...frustration reigns. I feel the familiar stirring of anger within my soul...at myself or at fate...no matter. Anger always retrieves my spirit from depression. There is one good thing going on...my left arm and hand are now finally catching up to it's more active counterpart. honey heals burns -manuka best how did you burn it?

I burned it while drinking at a cookout/party. I tripped and grabbed the red hot steel of the huge truck rim that borders the fire pit we had lit up. It was that or roll directly into it...my hand and arm were sacrificed by my unconscious reflexes which prevented worse damage.
Thanks for the tip about honey...I had no idea it could be treatment for burns. I use locally produced honey in my coffee. It's supposed to give me a sort of immunity to the pollen the bees use in making it. The jury's still out on that...I only started doing it a couple months ago. I'll find out next spring when our air turns green again from the forest pollen.

No exercise this week. But at 104 Kgs. If I can get to 103 kgs - then I might fit a bit better into my clothes.

104kgs still grrrrr....and I exercised/walked like a crazy man this week. So much and so far that I had to take today off as my legs were breaking down on me due to over use.

My waist like is 46.5 inches. It was 47 inches a week ago. However I have lost no weight in this time. Perhaps I have packed on some muscle in my legs??
I have been doing pushups but my arms are the same size at the moment so haven't picked up muscle there.

Hi Hercules
Although the reduction you wish for is not currently forthcoming is somewhat frustrating.
The good thing is you are very much aware of your excess weight...
I trust with this the beginning of the new year you will achieve your goal during 2018.
I fervently hope so...
and just to say wishing you happy, healthy new year!

At the moment my 104kgs is equal to 230 pounds. The heaviest I have ever weighed is 245 pounds. Usually in the past 10 years I have weighed around 215 pounds like clockwork. My weight is proving very stubborn to lose.
Today I added a general exercise workout to my routine as I am not getting results by just walking.

Best of luck Hercules. I am trying to lose weight this year too. Hi Fluerette, Best of luck to you also. It is very difficult once you are over 40 years old. Still my Dad is 70 and he lost 5 pounds recently so it must be possible.
