I am keeping up my regiment
As mentioned it will either keep me weight neutral or cause me to lose one pound each month
I look fatter than a pregnant lady at present

I have been at the gym about 7 times in the last 2 weeks. Each time I stay for 2 hours for a class or two. My favorite class is the stretch and strength. I find that it helps you to build up muscle and burn more of your calories when you have more muscle mass. My next favorite class is the step class.
I will probably join at the near end of September but we will see.

All forms of activity in terms of exercising one's body is good whether it be for weight loss purposes or just keeping fit in general.
However when it comes losing weight the most sure method is eating less. A gradual process of cutting down in incremental stages is I suggest the best way rather than crash dieting.

All in the mind from a psychological view point as opposed to a physiological fact.
but if it makes you feel better about yourself go with it H. However the strain on your heart and other vital organs will tell a different story in the longer term, that's for sure!

Hello,
Time for an update. I went up to 110kgs last September, Then walked every day over christmas and came down to 106kgs.
Then between Jan and April 10th I had orange juice every day at work and ballooned to 123kgs I then had a blood test and it warned that unless I make drastic changes I will get diabetes. I have had annual leave and have been exercising recently and am 119kgs today. The test will be whether I can keep up the exercise when I return to work next week!
I hired a personal trainer 3 weeks ago. The whole 4kgs came evenly over my whole body except for my lower stomach for some reason. Perhaps that will come next.

I think the personal trainer short changed me on the scales. I get 117kgs on the home scales. Which means I lost 6ks in 3 weeks. That is 13 pounds.
I lost 25 cms all over my body (thighs, chest, arms) but only 1cm from my waist. Rats because it is huge.
I will measure my waist right now and then check is every week.
It is 51 inches.

You caught the wrong end of the stick with my post I don’t enjoy being so fat I beg to differ, I think you were the one who got me wrong. I consider I am intelligent to know that you don't want this additional weight. And therefore would not have alluded that you are happy with same. However, You do not appear to be getting no where.. with all of your determination. Hence the reason I say consuming less would help. On the other hand, if that is what you are doing, then the other conclusion is the meds you take.. it is a question for who prescribed same.

I will post an update tomorrow night after I way in. At this stage I am not losing any inches off my belly fat.

PS., As I have said before now I was overweight bordering on obesity When I was diagnosed with diabetes.. It became a wake up call... I cut down considerably on carbohydrates by that mean cake , bread cookies, potato, pastries and other stuff, which reduced my weight .. as a result my hb1ac,(glucose levels), returned to a more manageable level.. and for that I am most grateful.

Hi David,
Thanks for your continued friendship over these long years I do value it and I am very pleased with how this web site has worked out, although I wish a few more had stuck around.
With regards to my weight, I weighed in the same as last week despite eating in a very controlled fashion this week (I basically only ate at meal time instead of all throughout the day with many many snacks). I probably cut out at least 1000 calories per day and cut my daily expenditure on lunch down from $45 a day to $15
I also worked out three times including a vigorous up hill hike yesterday, yet I am no better off on the scale basically.
Although there is the possibility that I have gained muscle and that offset the fat loss.
Also strangely I can bend over and tie my shoes now while I was so fat two months ago I couldn't do that properly.
My stomach is still at 51 inches - same as last week.
I did pick something up from your response and that is bread. I eat a 12 inch subway for lunch every day. About ten years ago I had a sudden loss of appetite that was related to my meds and I started eating a six inch sub every day, and the weight literally melted off every day.
I need to find a way to cut down further.
I expect exercising better is the answer as my current routine isn't working obviously.

I am down 2kgs this week = victory!
Stomach still at 51 inches
I am 114Kgs
When down to 110kgs I will celebrate as that was the weight I was in September of last year
I predict I can make 110kgs by June 10th my next weigh in with the personal trainer.
Lots of people on the internet have trouble losing belly fat and find that the most stubborn. I am just going to keep sticking at it and assume eventually it will fall off. At a minimum I expect I have reversed the accumulation of fat around internal organs.
My next step if replacing my greek yoghurt with a low fat yoghurt. This could reduce my weekly intake by 1000-1500 calories or up to 1kg per month.
I am on the march to success (at least this week anyway).
