Hi Hercules, I am a few days away from finishing the 5th book club selection but an looking forward to our next read. It is your turn to pick 3 choices for me to select from. Could you think about which books you'd like to nominate for our 601 book club selection? I vaguely remember you wanting to read A Wrinkle in Time. There is a movie out of this book now and I am willing to read that book, if I remember your choices from before correctly.
Take as much time to select your three choices. As I am still a few days away from finishing Stones From the River, so sorry it took me so long to catch up to you.

Can we change the rules I would like to suggest that when we put forward our three books that we be allowed to include one non fiction option.
Is that ok?

Yes, one non-fiction is a great idea!

Hi Hercules,
I am most interested in reading The Brothers Karamazov but it is about one thousand pages. Can you wait two week for me to try and read the first one hundred pages to see if I could read it? My concern is that it will be too hard for me to read. But I have heard it is a good book so I would like to try it out first. I do not even need to borrow it from my public library because it is in the public domain books.
Are you going to buy a copy of the book if after two weeks I say I'd like to read this book?
I am least interested in read the non-fiction choice of Mark Twain. But Margret Atood I didn't enjoy that much so I'd rather challenge myself and try out the brothers Karamazov.

I was thinking of withdrawing the brothers book
Apparently the book has three main characters who all represent a different part of the human psyche
Many people take months and months to read it
I also am not sure I am up for 1000 pages of intellectual discussion
Shall I post a different three books instead ?

Yes, please post three new titles for me to choose from. It would be nice not to try such a philosophical book and one thousand pages is a lot for anyone to read.

Hi Hercules,
I would like to pick Jules Verne's book. A Dog's Purpose is not for me for I am not a dog lover. In fact I am afraid of dogs. Einstein's book is not something I would be interested in so much for now.
When you have got the book let me know and we will set a deadline of two months to read but this is flexible since I was so behind in last book club's deadline.
I am looking forward to reading this book for the first time.
It is a famous book.

Hi Hercules,
I have downloaded a copy of the book to read on my iBooks. We can set the due date to two months from tomorrow so April 24th is when we should aim to finish the book?
I am in the middle of reading East of Eden so I will pick it up later.

Can we extend it a little - I have something to take care of in the next month so won't get to it for a while How about May 12th?
