Hi Hercules, I am most interested in reading The Brothers Karamazov but it is about one thousand pages. Can you wait two week for me to try and read the first one hundred pages to see if I could read it? My concern is that it will be too hard for me to read. But I have heard it is a good book so I would like to try it out first. I do not even need to borrow it from my public library because it is in the public domain books. Are you going to buy a copy of the book if after two weeks I say I'd like to read this book? I am least interested in read the non-fiction choice of Mark Twain. But Margret Atood I didn't enjoy that much so I'd rather challenge myself and try out the brothers Karamazov. Fleurette i got that -its too long youre doing east of eden? |

I am finished with East of Eden. It took me over a year to read it. Now I am in the middle of reading Gone with the Wind and I Know this Much Is True by Wally Lamb.
I wouldn't have taken that long to finish East of Eden if I didn't own my own copy. Because of that I put it down to read other books in between too often.

I am finished reading I Know this Much is True. But I have subscribed to a new service from Cricut Design space so I am reading less. Anyways, I am on chapter 16 and a bit confused as to what is going on. This book isn't really for me but I will finish it, give me some more time, Hercules.

Hi Hercules,
Do you mind terribly if we continued on to Book Club 701 without discussing this book? I got lost when they rescued the wife of the Indian back in India and cannot pick up the story line. I tried to continue the story but it is really hard to get into the story. If you reply you don't mind that would be great and we can move on to the next book. I really did try my best to continue it.
Sorry again to disappoint.
