Lucky Sue for the time being at least.. I say for the time being for none of us know as a result of climate change what's really going to happen next no matter where in the world we are located.

Stay safe with those fire warnings Sue. I really hate this time of year for you. I get worried.

Johannesburg has rainy weather - it's summer but rain season, which we really need due to current droughts.

I am inclined to be grateful for whatever the weather and think more in terms of where I live ... in comparison to the war torn areas such as the middle east, the continent Africa and elsewhere.
The weather may be important to such people but not as important as peace , stability and where their next meal is coming from.

And then there is the areas, across the world where earthquakes and tsunamis are an added concern
as to what tomorrow may bring... and leave them with as a serious symptom of same !

All that said this does not mean that I am devaluing this worthwhile topic .. just trying to add perspective to those far worse off... and for whom there appears to be no no or very little relief from a a humanitarian point of view.
No matter how much talk goes on in the United Nations to resolve same!
