I see posts can be edited or deleted anytime. I kind of like that but it does effect coherence and continuity in threads.

Yes, I finally made it here. It seems like a fine site, and I shall endeavor to make it here
more regularly that I did at MT, as of lately. So, I am a bit confused as to what happened at MT.
Was the social part coming down, or are they re-vamping to site? IMWK. Gotta go for now, as I have
OT shortly.

So good to hear from you Leigh. Participating membership at MT had bottomed out when the Doc abruptly gave us a week to adjust then shut down most of the site to posting. His reasons were never given.
Some of the problems from MT followed us here. Paul had created some friction there by posting links to questionable sites and using dialogue which was rejected. The conflict resumed here when he posted some links and did his normal thing. David and I disagreed (imagine that) on Paul's motives and whether he posed a threat to the site. Some insults were exchanged and David bailed...he's welcome back anytime. Some things never change.

Hey Keith, thanks for catching me up. Sorry to hear MT is gone for the time being.
What? You and David disagreed? Really? LOL You guys... You guys are like circles
and triangles in the same box. You two try to hang out on the same site tolerating
each other (possibly for the sake of the family) until...boom...something strikes a
nerve, and you two are at each other, goading and egging each other on. It is what
it is. Pretty much everyone has a person in their life they just can't get along with.
David is yours, and he is yours. It's a shame David left because of it, but perhaps he
will come back at some point.
Regarding Paul, While I don't think he is a threat, he is (as David mentioned) often
negative.
And he often talks of conspiracy theories. But, Paul is Paul, and those of us
who have been around him enough know that. I don't see anything wrong with his
posting here, and getting his 2 cents worth out. Everyone is entitled to that. On the
other hand, I don't see anything wrong with Hercules putting a small disclaimer on
the thread. Read at your own risk? Seems appropriate.
So, there's my 2 cents worth.

View AttachmentFlame's name on MT was FLMgirl - FLM stood for Finally Loving myself. A user called Stile (who turned out to be a very controversial member - don't get me started) named her Flamegirl. Then people, myself included, just started calling her flame. It is a cool name, flame, old flame etc...you can go in a lot of directions with it. Sorry for piping up, Just thought I would share that. |
