I think it might be important that somehow we have someway of connecting with each other in case something goes down with this site. Im on Facebook with Sue and Judy so I know I won't lose them but what can we do to make sure we don't lose each orher? If people want to swap email addresses via personal messages I am ok with that, but I don't people posting them on the open forum or guests and bots will spam you.

Ah, good idea and also I deleted your email address that you left in my personal blog on MT. This way you won't have to worry about it being there.

Ahh thanks for that Chelle, I was going to ask if you could delete that email addy.
Technically I guess I could compile a list of everyone's email addresses using my admin powers, but some people might not want me to do that and I also think just having people trade email addresses adds more redundancy (back ups) to the network.
A 3rd resort is I could open up some type of back up web site/blog and people could write down the url as a place to go in case of emergency. But that might be overcooking it.

If it ain't broke...don't fix it. If you have the list of the Emails from our applications...you can always reach us. Then again, it's just my opinion...and we all know what they're like.

Hello To-Ching. You probably know my name is Keith. May I ask your general location? You are Taurus...a good Earth sign that is reliably strong. I'm Pisces...a Water sign that sees the big picture.

Hi,
Thank you for the formal introduction, Keith!
I'm located in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
Taurus are famous for being stubborn; Pisces, I'd have to look up their defining trait...(Ah, it says here that they are selfless!) And it turns out that Taurus/Pisces have happy unions for love affairs...! Good to know!

I've always wondered how astrology got started, did they survey people and then average it out or what? It seems to me like just another way of profiling/generalizing people but based on when they were born instead of something else. I don't mean to knock astrology I just don't understand it, yeah I'm an aries but I figure I was just born when I was because I was conceived when I was and with around seven billion people in the world we can't all be the same who were born around that time of year.

In ancient times, wise men studying people realized that children and adults born during a certain season…reflected that season. They didn’t know about the evolution of DNA in living beings under the influence of a much closer Moon with a still active magnetic field. They weren’t aware of the Sun tilting on it’s axis creating variation in radiation from month to month resulting, ultimately, in four recognizable “breeds” They simply knew the “breeds” existed because of observation and mathematics. They called them ELEMENTS. They learned about math counting and measuring the movements of the objects in the sky, particularly the Sun, Moon, Planets, and Constellations. They ranked in that order of importance…and effect. The Sun passed through the constellations 12 times a year, Moon…12 times a month, and the constellations rotated around the Earth 12 times a day.
Evolutionary psychology is an approach in the social and natural sciences that examines psychological structure from a modern evolutionary perspective. It seeks to identify which human psychological traits are evolved adaptations – that is, the functional products of natural selection or sexual selection. Adaptationist thinking about physiological mechanisms, such as the heart, lungs, and immune system, is common in evolutionary biology. Some evolutionary psychologists apply the same thinking to psychology, arguing that the mind has a modular structure similar to that of the body, with different modular adaptations serving different functions. Evolutionary psychologists argue that much of human behavior is the output of psychological adaptations (3 types-Qualities) that evolved to solve recurrent (seasonal)problems in human ancestral environments.
Carl Jung admitted his Archetypes and the Collective Unconscious theory were developed through astrological stereotypes. He wrote a series of books published by Princeton University Press in the U.S. and Routledge & Kegan Paul in the U.K. It contains the edited essays "On the Psychology of the Unconscious" and "The Relations Between the Ego and the Unconscious", which state the basic principles of Jungian psychology.
The current position of the stars and planets at your birth mean nothing in and of themselves. They are simply points on a cosmic clock relating to when your particular archetype was ingrained through magnetic, electrical, and gravitational programming of DNA. You reflect those traits after millions of years of evolutionary development. If you study your birth chart, you will find overwhelming evidence of it's accuracy. Daily horoscopes are garbage based on such generalities as to render them useless. Your Sun sign alone is only 1/3 of your picture.

Sure Herc, I'll set it up.
BTW To-Ching...Taurus is also known for loyalty and trust. They love beautiful things and can become materialistic. Are you Chinese as your name suggests?

Yes, my parents were from the Hong Kong/Guangdong province.
Don't ask how they managed to meet halfway across the world; I'm not sure myself haha...
What can you tell me so far about possible employment from the stars?
I like your interest in space, Keith, I saw some of your posts in other threads. I had a recent binge (a couple weeks ago old now though) of Chris Hadfield's space videos... and an American astronaut tour of the ISS... Seeing everything so weightless...
Actually, while I can be called materialistic, I have a deep idealism for finding one's true calling, and thus, never have to work a day in one's life.

I quite agree...it isn't work if you love it. I can give you a great deal of info from the stars if you provide certain data: Date of Birth, time, location. Or, you can research privately at www.astro.com/horoscope?nhor=1725333. Just click on "Free Horoscopes" then, "Personal Portrait" and submit the info. I guarantee surprises.
