I have not had any side affects to the inoculation process I participated in Michelle,I am sorry I haven't got around to providing such information earlier. The thing is, over the last few days as a result of research, on a website called My Heritage, I have come across a brother, who I knew about, since 1960, but never before now, have we been able to communicate with each other. Purely because we where unaware of where each other lived. Therefore, for the time being I am totally absorbed, in such a process. He is now 66 and I currently 75 years of age, and I never thought that we would eventually have a kinship relationship, then it happened and I am totally overwhelmed by same... so hopefully you will forgive me along with others, in me taking some time off at least for foreseeable future. Tremendous news!

Thank you Hercules for your kind words... A week later we have had a video call several times which has proved positive on each occasion.
I therefore feel it is about time I continued where I left off. Now that we appear to be getting along just fine, even though it is early days I am optimistic!

I don’t know the stats on Canada but I do know that in my province of Ontario they’re starting to decline by a very small percentage but at least we’re headed in the right direction.

Today I had my second vaccine dose and I am thrilled in having had same.
However, I don't see it has a passport to doing what I like from now on.
I see it more as a possible antidote to major illness complications as a result of catching Covid 19 in the future.
I will continue to respect the government guide lines, as to what I can and not to... to not only safe guard myself and others I come into contact with!

I agree David in all that you say here. I'm getting my second dose on this saturday.i must say it gives me a sense of more security knowing that it may give me a chance to not have serious disease should I catch this monster. I will still be diligent with my current practice of social distancing and precautions.
Here's to us and to all who wish to be safer and to be a part of the solution to the problem and not a part of the problem.

Information gleaned from BBC
The number of cases of Indian variant is climbing here in the UK, but what this means remains to be seen. The variant should soon be dominant - it is clearly more infectious than the UK variant which emerged last year.
Scientists are busy studying it to work out just how much more transmissible it is. That means unpicking to what extent the rise is being driven by the sudden importation of the variant from abroad and the environmental factors in the communities where it is spreading.
In densely-populated housing conditions it's easier for the virus to be passed on - rather than because of an inherent biological advantage. Scientists believe it could be anything between 10% to 50% more infectious depending on what influence each of those factors have.
If it's nearer 50%, that could drive a surge in cases that could spill over into significant hospital admissions even with the vaccine rollout. At the lower end, the impact will be more muted and the full lifting of restrictions on 21 June could still be on.
There are some early signs it could be at the lower end, but it will be a week or two before we know that with any confidence.

I will Michelle.. and like you I pray for them too.. given the gravity of the infection rate they are currently experiencing at an alarming rate.

I saw an article today that said just getting off the plane in certain areas that they catch it. It's in the air they say. This is so horrible. These people need help. I mean if we can send people off to war, why can't we send people to help them with this?

Yes Michelle I have read that also.
And I agree the enormous costs of wars..
should be diverted to spending on what we
have currently on health and well being
rather than on death and destruction... that war is ultimately designed to create.
