More than any part of tomorrow’s ritual and pageantry,
the brief remarks by Kamala Harris & Joe Biden at today’s
Covid Memorial filled me with hope and gratitude for America’s next chapter.
Biden acknowledged & mourned the deaths of over 400,000 Americans and
reified the trauma and grief of their loved ones.
I was overcome with relief at the realization that the US is being returned to
the care of a leader with genuine humanity and compassion. |

Just got the update for our province in Canada. Our lockdown measures will be extended for another two weeks. 14 days. I can do this. I hope they don’t extend it anymore. I know that it depends on the number of cases. And.... no immunization until most likely June.

I have not had any side affects to the inoculation process
I participated in Michelle,
I am sorry I haven't got around to providing such information earlier.
The thing is, over the last few days as a result of research,
on a website called My Heritage, I have come
across a brother, who I knew about, since 1960,
but never before now, have we been
able to communicate with each other.
Purely because we where unaware of where each other lived.
Therefore, for the time being I am totally absorbed, in such a process.
He is now 66 and I currently 75 years of age, and I never thought
that we would eventually have a kinship relationship, then it happened
and I am totally overwhelmed by same...
so hopefully you will forgive me along with others,
in me taking some time off at least for foreseeable future.

PS., I spent years trying to locate him but without success
but then I was going by my surname and not the one he adopted
with his new found family as a result of such an adoption in 1968.

How exciting David!!! I'm so happy for you! About 20 years ago I found my mother's sister who was adopted by accident online. Thing is we never ever knew my mom had a sister. She knew the rest of the family but they were all told to never ever tell my mother.
It is such an exciting time for you. No need to apologise and congratulations!!
