What good habit do you want to begin?
(Doing this on my phone today, so no fonts or sized type, or colors)
The habit I want to start is to begin a basic routine. A Morning Routine. Presently, I don’t have one. I kinda just roll out of bed and go sit in the den. And that’s it pretty much. Since becoming disabled and not being able to work, it’s like I have lost my purpose and don’t try to work with what I have.
So, if I have a Morning Routine, including a wake up time, maybe I could get more done. Maybe it could help me not waste so much time oversleeping, and playing games on my phone. In the past 6 weeks, I have almost started a thread in ‘General’ about the things I would’ve been able to do “if I was ready to go” on that morning, instead of missing out on things.
I think if I just got in the habit of prepping for the day, then I would be ready, and more likely to get involved with the activities here. When I wait too late in the day to get ready, then I talk myself out of going or doing at all.

I very much go along with what you share with us here Leigh... for to try and go along life's path without some sort of plan invites chaos in our lives. Something I suggest we can all do without!
I am enjoying this project of your thus far. .. and hopefully learning from same along the way!

I would like to join the gym and go regularly. Flame, what would your morning routine look like? Is it more of getting up at a certain time and not over sleeping of do you want to get ready for going out in the mornings?

Fleurette, my morning routine needs to include wake up time, and stuff to get ready to go out. Although I am still planning it, so far, I have: get up by 8:30a (this way I can make the dining room for breakfast at 9) shower or wash face brush teeth; brush hair; lotion extremities make up bed dress for the day off to breakfast (on non-shower days) get yesterdays mail (while downstairs) put away dry dishes
This is the basics. If I were to follow a before bed routine, then the apartment would already be tidied up.
Having fleshed this out right now, I am getting excited to put it on paper, and starting it.

believe it or not, I don't moisturise everyday... So I started on monday.
