Name and get rid of a limiting belief you have about yourself or your abilities.
First of all, I am sure that it is still yesterday somewhere here in the USA, like the West coast. So, hopefully, I can sneak in to that premise, and am not late for day 2.
Now, regarding my limiting belief, the question is which one to choose. Or which one am I most likely to be able to get rid of. Hmm.
Think I am going to think on this some more.
In the meantime, what about you guys...any limiting beliefs you want to get rid of?

Well here is a web site with 7 common beliefs which hold us back: personalexcellence.co/blog/limiting-beliefs/Limiting Belief #1: “I can’t be my real self or I’ll be judged.” Limiting Belief #2: “I can’t fall in love or I’ll get my heart broken.” Limiting Belief #3: “I can’t ask for what I want because I may get rejected.” Limiting Belief #4: “I can’t trust people lest they betray my trust.” Limiting Belief #5: “I can’t pursue my dreams because I may fail.” Limiting Belief #6: “I don’t need to be successful so I’m not going to strive for success.” Limiting Belief #7: “It’s too late to pursue my dreams.”

I guess from those beliefs I would resonate with "I can't be my real self or I will be judged".
I feel I have to be very careful telling jokes and sharing my thoughts. Or at lease I used to - as I found my real self was too whacky to reveal to people.
However I had an ground breaking conversation with my mother where we discussed why people like one another and why they like me. A person isn't really liked because they are funny or witty or brave or any of that. A person is liked because of their true nature. Their true nature is impossible to describe but is known by all. When you accept that who you are is not some facet of your personality that is whacky, but that you exist at a much baser level, you feel free to be a little bit whacky without being a goof who is trying to hard to prove something.
I will leave my thought there.

We all have a say in what we do. So my limiting belief is that I cannot change my behaviours and the negative symptoms will get the best of me.
I have to learn to love more like God loves us. Without conditions. But we also have to accept that we are all growing in the way we want to behave and improve.

When I plan to attempt something, I often have a hard time taking the first step, because I am already afraid I will fail. I find also, that I have a lot of self-doubts about every thing.
Yes, if I could lose this limiting belief, my life would really turn around.

I am not good enough/I am not deserving.
This is a subconscious belief I carry and never say out loud. My therapist however reminds me of this, how I treat myself and sabotage myself, because of my childhood etc blabla boring psychoanalytics. But I guess it's true.
I hope to get rid of this.
