Free speech is most welcome in a free society; however when it comes to hate speech I think such violation should be confined to the trash bin. For it does nothing to help what we are supposed to have here, when it comes to promoting friendship and camaraderie within our community. Is it not about time to introduce a controversial section for those who wish to continue down this path... leaving those who prefer a more conciliarity dialogue to proceed without hindrance from those hell bent on anything but such tolerance... that we should be affording each other... If we are to survive as a fellowship whereby peace of mind is paramount in our objective here!

Whenever I post here, I come with heart and mind prepared (not as a loose cannon), in order to interact with folk on whatever subject they are concerned about, and to try wherever and whenever possible to do my best to communicate something positive .
This, I feel is devalued somewhat, when members and or guests are confronted with stuff, that is usually emotive in tone and anything but friendly in content.

I am used to it, however, for some, I am convinced it could be quite disconcerting to say the least.
Hence the reason I suggest the compartmentalising of posts that could be considered
not conducive for general consumption and therefore placed elsewhere...
such in the blog area, headed 'controversial',
whereby one has to be member to come into contact, (with more often than not) such hostile
and frequently devoid of authenticity... postings.

Keith and Paul How would you feel if I created a seperate sub forum for controversial topics?
David I may send you a private message to ask some clarification questions?

Will you be happy to restrict yourself to sharing political and newsworthy events to new controversial sub forum instead of the main general discussion sub forum ?

It is purely a suggestion
nothing more than that!

PS., And I am certainly not getting at what Keith posts,
and every one else for that matter, other than Paul.. for his blatant disrespect when it comes to the sensitivity of others... in order to sensationalise stuff mainly a none factual content.

Let it be known to all here I am not against you Paul as a person; however, I hasten to add, some of your posts are inflammatory in content, and therefore, (in my opinion), insufficiently wholesome for reader consumption, in what after all is supposed to be a social, if not therapeutic environment also.

I think we're adult enough to read and recognize what we want to, or don't want to read...without direction.
