My attacks bog me down. Sometimes to the point of a crying spell. Especially when the attacks happen more than 3 times a day.
Music lifts me up. Prayer lifts me up. Painting watercolours lifts me up. And reading lifts me up.
What about you?

What gets me down is the frustration that arises
when I feel I'm unfairly criticised
However, like you I usually engage in some
sort of positive activity does the trick and my
confidence is restored.
Providing me with renewed self worth.

PS., Kind words and actions... above all else, lifts me up. For me.. it is the best 'medicine' that can be dispensed when feeling down.
A meaningful hug I also find beneficial... That to me I consider the ' icing on the cake', in any given situation I regard as a troublesome event in my life.

What bogs me down? All the things I should be doing, but keep procrastinating. And other people’s perceptions of what I should be doing and their expectations.
What lifts me up: Music Reading Laughing Praying Wellbutrin Re-runs of good shows
