Home maintenance clearly shows I am no longer a double act. lol...but there are angels in my life who help an old lady out. My pdoc gave me an electric lawn mower, if it were pink you would think it was made by Barbie. I really need to try and keep well. In a group on face book I belong to the ladies go to the movies once a week and write their thoughts. I thought I can do that and our small cinema in town is very affordable for seniors so I will see the bookshop next Tuesday. Wednesday I go to aquarobics. Friday I see Pdoc. Sunday I take Mozart to the beach No I have no predjudice to anyone as long as they do no harm to others. One of Jeffs sons is gay and his patner is a lovely pharmacist and they are very happy. I will be having lunch with them today. Being dx with scz...well stigma does not come much worse than that...I have some stories on that one. In the hospital a heavy man stumbled and fell through the fibre wall...I was telling my therapist and she said "do you often see men walking though walls"...nope only when they leave gaping holes. Yes times have been stifling and I have tried to exit stage left...that is how stifling it is at times. It is easy to die but difficult to live. So we have been fiends fo 11 years, that is amazing. I hope you are well, cold and fosty over here, x

The rapport between you and david is inspiring. "However what speaks to me more is realising over the eleven years I have known you, is your courage to survive no matter all that you been through."
I agree...you are a credit to your gender and country. You have guts Sue.

Hi Sue, as you know the reason I haven't posted here in this thread is because you and I talked by another means but you know I'm always wishing you well and I'm glad the hospital visit did you some good.

Hi Keith, Guts...no a strong support team...but yes I do act impulsively to tidy things up in my life these days. On the weekend I was feeling flat so I rang a friend and asked if he wanted a visitor and then I hopped in my car and drove 200 miles for a visit. We ate oysters and calamari overlooking the ocean. I took Mozart with me he is always welcome on the farm...this is my special friend not just some random number from my face book list. Sunday morning we went to church and next Tuesday we are heading to the seaside for the night after I see the eye surgeon. I am going to aquarobics twice a week and taake Mozart to the beach once a week, he loves the ocean and it blows the cob webs away too. It is winter here and my fractured hand is complaining with arthritis, but I am knitting a beabie for Jeff, his chemo drugs are making him lose his hair. I hope you are well Keith. I hope you are all well. xxxx

I've done that when the mood is just right. Seeing old friends can be crucial to maintain some connection between the past and today and 200 miles is no barrier. It's early Summer here. My garden is exploding...I did everything right this year. Keep Mozart close...they're such a comfort.

Yes...Mozart is a great travelling companion and it sure as hell beats sitting around ruminating over past issues. My son will look after him Tuesday night when I am away, they both enjoy that.My weeds are exploding, my good neighbour sprayed them for me...I am not really allowed to have poisons in my shed. Cold as Billlio here, Sticking to my aquarobics, pdoc was pleased yesterday; Hope you are well. Cheers.
