What are you planning to do for your mom this year? I am working on a scrapbook for my mom as she didn't want any store brought gifts. I have also made her a card. How about you?

My mother died 25 years ago but my wife is a mom, and grand mom...she'll get her traditional roses from me and probably a dinner from the boys. The grandkids will just bury her in hugs. Hope your day is going well fleurette.

Hi y'all. How is everyone? Fleurette, I am excited for your Mom to receive such nice gifts from the heart.
Over the past year, I have received cards from the Deacons at church, which I quite enjoy. One lady includes fun items like silk fall leaves, or balloons, stars, etc... Another lady hand makes her cards. They are very cool to receive, and always put a smile on my face.
Hope you all have a lovely Mother's day. I am going to try to make it to church, which I haven't been able to do since before all this leg stuff started. During that time, my church moved out of its temporary digs into a place of our own. Brand new campus, that I have only seen on the website. And to help with the transportation problem, the place I am living takes a bus to 3 different churches on Sundays now. I just have to push thru my other anxieties, and just do it.

Mothers Day is a trigger for me. I have 3 beautiful children but one has alienated herself from the entire family and that hurts. It is causing me so much angst I am going into hospital on the 16th of May to level out. The other children will take me out for a chinese tea. I love them all very dearly. Pdoc knows me by now that I bottle things up and should I explode it will be an ambulance journey. My biological mother died, in 2010, the Nanna who raised me in 1996 If there are any gifts I do expect they would be gift cards but just having a family gat together is all I want and I have no idea why Katie cant fit just a cup of tea into her day...KIDS
