I move from one mistake to the next...
only temporarily regretting such a faux pas
trusting I will learn from same rather than
indulging in the agony of regret... which serves no purpose to future enlightenment.

PS., How about you when
it comes to such conflicting matters
conscience wise?

That's not to say I renege on responsibility for my gaffe
far from it, for I inevitably apologise before moving on.
Freeing myself up from long term guilt and all that,
that entails to my future well being..
and the well being of others for that matter...
when it comes to holding a grudge either way!

However, there are always some who can't forgive... let alone forget such actions.
I have learned over time to let go of such folk, whereby nothing will persuade them
to accept that they also make mistakes... and when it comes to it, are no better than I
on that front.
When it comes to human nature no one is perfect... for the simple reason, no one is in command of all the answers to the human predicament, (past or present), therefore we just have to work it out for ourselves in incremental stages as we proceed through life...
Trusting we don't make to many errors of judgement along the way for the sake of ourselves and others who we may experience such a deficit, that is a feature in all of us whether we like it or not! lol

Having made several instalments here over the last hour or so getting stuff of my chest... as I've thought further about what next to add...
Forgive me for that... if that be at all possible!

The thing is my thoughts overflow in content at times...
but when I try to evacuate all in one go, I sometimes become constipated in delivery; having to make several try's to complete such defecation until I feel satisfied with the outcome . lol

Now that I've completed my task.. its over to you
to either respond or 'flush' same..
One way or another I feel a sense of relief having shared what was on my mind.
And for that I am most grateful!

Sorry I did not notice your reply until now Keith
and Ewwwww.... is a good answer. Given the lavatorial metaphors I used to underline what I was trying to get at. Always grateful for your feedback , David
