I only have 1 friend. A male friend. He is the bass player in the band. He’s a real sweetheart and we share a lot of common interests.
I can’t really be bothered with the rest of the world. I have been stabbed in the back too many times by supposed friends. I am just tired of the games people play!

Yes I am keeping busy and do not check this site as much as before. On Tuesday mornings starting in mid July I will have embroidery class and in the afternoon a series of workshops about motivation. The book club that I have joined is at the end coming up this next week. I have mixed media class starting on Monday afternoons so that will be interesting. I am trying to get started learning calligraphy and brush lettering but so far have only borrowed a few books from the library on this subject. Injured my left foot so I cannot stand very long or walk anywhere.

although sorry to learn you have injured your foot.
I trust over time your mobility returns to normal.
I am pleased that you are keeping yourself occupied.
Noting what you say about one project ending and another beginning.
That's what I call motivational for in keeping one's mind busy...
I find, (from a personal point of view) therapeutic.
Far better than navel gazing which is anything but!

This guy turned out to be a jerk with something else on his mind other then friendship. He ghosted me which means he cut off all communication with me without a word. This made me angry that he was immature to not be responsible and adult enough to make rational decisions. I would rather be by myself with my family, my puppies and my guitars. I can’t be bothered anymore with people. I am not really even on any social media platforms either. I have some guitar forums that I frequent. |

Good to hear from you fleurette. I'm sorry about your current disability with your mobility.. time and care and you will heal. Do they have you doing any physical therapy?

I said what I did above because no one knows more than I..
That there is no simple explanation a to how any of us think,
feel or behave, ay in point of time in our lives.
Just airing my thoughts on human nature as I see it.

I long ago gave up on trying to understand human nature david and as such I have no idea how humans think or why they say anything they do
I say they rather than we deliberately as I don’t fit in or behave how others tend to so struggle to put myself in their shoes.

I appreciate what you say here however unlike you Hercules; I haven't given up on trying to understand human nature, for I would see that as given up on me. Especially when communicating with others. For like you as a human being. we are an integral part of the human condition.... with all of its foibles, like it or not. That is until such times as our humanity concludes. as it inevitably will when our body dies. Not until then am I looking for death this side of the grave. lol |

What I am trying to get across is we cannot change how other humans think...
anymore then we can change the way WE personally think. feel and behave at any given time in our lives.
All we can do as individuals is accept what we do like and reject, wherever possible, that which we find offensive
to our very existence.
