Rachmaninoff and Mozart. My dog is called Mozart but he dances, he refuses to play th piano, I should ask for my money back. I thought Rachmaninoff might be too long for a dogs name. I would like to get a scond dog this year, perhaps call her Bach.

I've never been in the habit of listening to classical music, but I used to play it on piano. My favorite to play was always Haydn.

I always listened to Richard Clayderman's piano music when I was a college student.

Omg Wagner. Tried to sit through the Ring Cycle once, a Met Opera live in HD performance, thought I was going to have to run screaming from the place, couldn't get out of there quick enough.
Not averse to Russian composers, though, not at all.

I must say Chopin for his piano concertos is another favourite amongst others.

Chopin was always very difficult for me to play, but his music is gorgeous.

Maurice Ravel
BTW Paul...I like Russians. They helped us stomp Adolph, Benito, and Tojo. I just don't like Putin. I wouldn't have liked Stalin either but I respect the memory of the Red Army soldiers who fought and died to stop Fascism. I think the Russian people are good.
