Wow...that is a challenge...
Last visit to pdoc I said I had stuffed most thing up in my life so he said what things, I said not finishing uni so bingo 6 hours later I was reenrolled. I am worried I might fail but as I have all week to do one subject the thing is I can work through it one bit at a time. I will feel better about myself if I can achieve something, even something small. I love to learn. So I have to turn my fear of failing into the challenge of trying and achieving.
Is that what you mean Admin if not feel free to delete.

There's no way I could go 21 hours without a negative thought...let alone three weeks. However, if it's just a matter of defining neg/pos...I'm game.
Let's see, I just saw Trump displaying his ignorance in Japan and I'm reminded how humiliated I and my fellow thinking Americans feel. That's negative...and unlikely to change. I almost made it through the first hour.
Whoopie Goldberg knitted a Christmas sweater for Steven Colbert that portrayed a Santa with large furry balls. That's positive...and I'm grateful for his balls.

All he really has is an ability to initiate war. I think he's beginning to sense that he's screwed if there is no diversion...like war. I can't put myself in Trump's head...I can't regress that far.
There are his fascist factions here that are promoting a new tripartite pact. This time, it's not Germany, Japan, and Italy...it's NATO, Russia, and China. He wants to "cut a deal" where the strong crush the weak and they live happily ever after. There are a few snags like Pakistan, Israel, and India being the only Muslim, Jewish, and Buddhist nuclear powers. This whole damn thing is about God and who he backs. Being a simpleton, Trump won't see that...

Trump fascinates me. He is either exceptionally bright or very stupid. Or could it be he is a bit of both. I have fallen out of touch with what he is doing because all of Fox News' moderate presenters have left, the kelly file, Greta, Bill O'reilly. And replaced by rabid right wing advocates. I used to love Fox. Sad face that no one has joined me on the negativity challenge. It is changing my life with each passing day. Often my life things about past hurtful things, but because of this challenge I am repositioning them in my life as having happened for the good. So that is helping me to deal with some stuff.

Here's something positive: we could set up a Trump bashing thread that would make what Keith has said so far look like a story from a children's book. How about that?
My positive for today is that I am DELIGHTED to report that we in Virginia elected a new DEMOCRATIC governor yesterday by 9 percentage points. We also elected a Democratic Lieutenant Governor and Attorney General.
I am happy as I can be this morning. Like Keith, though, not sure I could make it until lunchtime unless I just read a book and don't turn on any media or give a thought to the state of the world.

I estimate ninety percent of any given day I am in positive mode
therefore the balance of ten percent does not concern me to any degree.
I go further to say I do not believe anyone no matter who they are can
say truthfully that they are one hundred percent positive all the time.

I am really enjoying the negativity challenge. And it is making me be less stressed. I was feeling negative about my job interview process but I forced myself to find the positive way of thinking about it and I was reminded of the saying everything works out of the best.
Whatever job I get or don't get will be for the best. God will look after me. Even if it a role that sounds more junior. Somehow it will end up being an enjoyable role.
All for now,
Hercules

I used to love Fox. Surely you jest. There is no "either".....just listen to him speak without a teleprompter.
You think Bill O'reilly is a moderate? I'm thinking you are far more conservative than I realized...

Compared to judge Jeanine and Sean Hannity he is very moderate.

I see. I think we should avoid mentioning Hannity...too much negativity.
The fact that you once "loved" Fox was the hint regarding your conservatism.
I don't find conservative values repulsive...just limiting.
