On a typical day, I get up in the mornings and wait for my mom and brother to wake up. Somedays we will go out for lunch but rarely for dinner. Then we do so light shopping or grocery shopping. We have our appointments in the afternoon usually if we can help it. Then I stay home the rest of the day and read or watch tv but mostly read for I do not enjoy watching tv as much as reading. The thing that is constant is that my mom and brother always goes to the YMCA at the afternoon time. And I stay home. On the rare occasion we will watch a movie together at home , borrowed from the library.
What is your schedule like and what is your routine?

Well I am up about 4 am...just when you are retiring David but I like the mornings, the quiet and watching the sun rise, my house faces the east, the rising sun. I tend to do my housework in patches then and after showering I do any jobs out of the house that need to be done. I read, watch tv, go on the computer, do craft or if unwell just cuddle with my furbabies and listen to the happy chatter of the children at the school opposite and just try and get through the day. My new medication has brought enjoyment into my life...bonus. I am getting more done. I do check my diary daily and see pdoc once a week, I try and walk the dog a few times a week and on the weekend we will go to the beach early for a walk and some fresh air, now with my little car I can afford to do the drive to the beach, I love driving. I pick my son up from work in the valley about 3.30pm but he is always running late so I read while I wait for him. I always cook an evening meal for myself, I love cooking and I love a tidy house. When spring arrives I want to start gardening. As the weeks out of hospital are passing I will add an extra activity into my routine every month or so..the local pool will be open in October and I wnt to get back to aquarobics...but all in good time, my main activities now are exercising my puppy and sewing and reading and that is good.

Usually, I get up at 6:30 AM and My wife gets up at 5:30. My wife would cook for herself and my son. At 7:00 I take my son to his primary school by bike and Then I go to my work in the morning. I eat in my bureau for breakfast and lunch. Usually, my leader will appoints me some task such as type write a article or fetch some paper and I have to do it. If I have no task, I will view the web pages and post here.
After the work, I fetch my son hoom and cook dinner for my family. Now, my son is on summer holiday and lives with his grandparents.

Gosh what a great post. When I have nothing to do I Want to surf the net too, but they cap how many GBs of traffic you can surf through a month. And they run reports on who is surfing the most. So basically you can't really surf that much. So instead you have to do nothing. This involves going for a long lunch, a long afternoon tea, a long mid morning tea, and then cleaning out old emails that you don't need anymore. Then sometimes you just stare at the screen or pretend to read an old email over and over again. It isn't much fun and each day takes a life time to get through.

Wow, Hercs I thought your work would be much more structured...I am trying to reintroduce structure to my life after my last meltdown. Hi Sue, I work on projects. When each project ends I temporarily have nothing to do until the next one starts. They should let me stay home, but instead I have to dress nicely and come to work.

I suppose you have to be there Hercs, in my own mundane way I too work on projects, sewing, knitting, crocheting, reading, writing , painting, the house so I hear you, only it is up to me to organize such projects and to do so I need to be in tune with my 5 senses to keep going. I also have a weekly routine to try and put back into place, one day I see pdoc, one day I go to the beach with little legs who is terrified of the ocean but loves the little tidal pools and the seaweed and the drive in the car, he has his own little harness and seat belt so he is safe and he squeals with delight when his harness comes out. In October our local pool opens so I will go there one day a week and in September I will start back at aquarobics one day a week. In the meantime I am making Christmas presents for the little girls. Routine a necessary evil. Cheers
