1970s music videos

The 70s were my era, indian tops and sandals and bell bottom V knee jeans...too poor to go to concerts but sitting outside the venues and listening with friends and the other poor hippies...lol

There were a few venues we could afford for concerts. I saw Fleetwood Mac in 1973 for 3 dollars. Sat about 20 feet from the stage, on the floor on a blanket, which coincidentally was about 15 feet in front of a speaker that left me deaf for days afterwards. Guess it's a wonder I could ever hear again.

I don't have videos, but did go to a few concerts. B. B. King headlining a bunch of local bands at N. C. State's All-Campus Weekend, Allman Brothers Band (just a few years after Duane Allman died), Nitty Gritty Dirt Band (whose opening act, by the way, was Steve Martin, at the very beginning of his career), Leon Russell (young, obnoxious, and fantastic). We tried to see Grateful Dead but the crowd was too rowdy for me. I was sure we'd be arrested before that concert was over, so we got the h*ll out. Grand Funk Railroad, as much as I hate to admit it now...what can I say? I was young.
