Hi Hercules, Sure take a few weeks off. I am fine with that. I was also thinking that maybe we should set the date for discussion 2 months later because that gives us the freedom to read other books in between or with the book that we are reading for this 401 book club. Would you prefer one month to read a book or two months?

Hi Hercules,
How are you progressing on your other books? What are you reading now. It has been a month since you posted you are wanting to put off the book club selection for a few weeks, is there enough time now? Post here when you are ready to post your next two books up for selection for our book club 401. Thanks.

Reading is not just an escape. It is access to a better way of life.

Hi, Sue
The Feng Shui in Chinese means wind and water. It is about lucky numbers or location of your house. There are many theories about Feng Shui and some people in China believe in them. others will not believe in them. you may take it as reference.

PS., More abut R D Laing
Ronald David Laing, usually cited as R. D. Laing, was a Scottish psychiatrist who wrote extensively on mental illness – in particular, the experience of psychosis. Laing's views on the causes and treatment of serious mental dysfunction, greatly influenced by existential philosophy, ran counter to the psychiatric orthodoxy of the day by taking the expressed feelings of the individual patient or client as valid descriptions of lived experience rather than simply as symptoms of some separate or underlying disorder. Laing was associated with the anti-psychiatry movement, although he rejected the label. Politically, he was regarded as a thinker of the New Left.

Oryx and Crake – Margaret Atwood
A Wrinkle in Time, Madeleine L’Engel
On the Road - by Jack Kerouac
choose one - something tells me I have suggested wrinkle in time before if so feel free to ignore it. It looks hit or miss.
