There have been many expeditions to conquer Mount Everest. In 2006 a British expedition nearly made it to the top but one of their keenest mountaineers twisted his ankle some way from the summit. So they all went down together and no one summitted in that expedition. "We set out to conquer Everest as a team and either we all make it to the top or none of us make it to the top. We will return again next year to try again."
Not one of you members of this forum will be left behind on our trip up life's Mount Everest. All of you are coming with me together and if one of us fails then we all fail. And we will return to the bottom of the mountain again in due course with renewed strength ready try again when the weather clears and the season is open. We will go to the top. And it will be glorious.

I very much agree with the sentiment you portray here Hercules Ideally that should be the case.
However, such an ideal does not always translate into reality
for most folk, possibly due to a result of human nature,
and the selfishness of what that portrays doesn't always meet such ideals.
That is why as individuals and as a community we must strive to achieve such a goal.
