one is The Princess and The Frog, the second one is The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, the third one is The Fight For Today by Ronald L. Smith
It took me RMB 10 Yuan to buy these books and I lost my own book of The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, so I bought this one.

I don't have too many books. The number of books I have is about two hundred or so. Half of the books are English books and I keeps my textbook in university and My parents have about two hundreds or so books too.
What I want to do is to read the books I have and write some articles if it is possible.

Your position as a Chinese citizen, your familiarity with us, the current international situation, and your fluency with English should make your writings of value Walter...both to the East and the West. You've always seemed coherent and fair...a good source of insight into the Chinese people and their feelings about life and the world.
I've friended you Walter.

I took this from your blog at Chinadaily:
C.G.Jung
Have you ever felt like you have “some kind of complex?” Maybe your sensitivity level is higher regarding certain issues. You hear people bring up issues which disturb your inner peace and you are forced to confront them if only in your own mind. Possibly you have buttons that certain people know how to push and set you into a downward emotional, psychological, and/or spiritual spiral.
I'm glad Carl Jung is among those people you reference...he was a very wise man.

What you took is part of the third chapter of a book named The Power of Thought. It is a translation contest hosted by Chinadaily. I translated the article from English into Chinese.
The source language is English and the target language is Chinese.

Sounds cool. Carl Jung was also a supporter of Astrology as an accurate source of personal information. Now we have Astro Psychologists. Our new Secretary of State, Rex Tillerson, was in your country lately hoping to arrange some cooperative measures with your government regarding North Korea. I think we may be making some progress there...hope so.

You seem to be very interested in world politics. Now, Tillerson is back to U.S.; My job and my life have nothing to do with world politics.

Yes, David
I can be related to domestic politics, however, As for North Korea, I don't care about Kim Jing Un's confrontation with U.S. and South Korea.

I no longer collect books Walter. I read more than ever but it's all on my computer screen. At my age, I tend to focus on political reality...current events. But, I can understand your attitude. We can't do much about the situation...no point in getting all anxious and paranoid about it. I'm just masochistic I guess...fascinated by that which pains me.
I too like to write...good mental exercise. I find communicating easy but private/commercial composition is unappealing to me...I need immediate feedback and response. I'll never make money from writing and for one reason or another...I don't care. Meanwhile, I keep juggling symbols in my head...hoping to avoid senility. And here we are. That's about as real as I can get.

I just collect a little bit books. You are right, the E-books are very popular among young people. Also, we can read more by smart phone. Yes, writing is a wonderful hobby. if you can make some money, it is better than working in a factory.

Yes, factories suck as far as vocational goals are concerned. We probably won't have to worry about that much longer. Robots and automation can do it all faster and cheaper than any population of any country. This situation could produce a new Renaissance if greed didn't dominate all our cultures...and we weren't spending most of our treasure on weapons. I don't see this commentary as political...but rather, as philosophical.
The prophetic books "1984" and "Brave New Word" represent contrasting Dystopian and Utopian worlds. I remember reading them both for the first time 60 years ago and wondering which way we'd be going. I'm still not sure.
We'll avoid political discussion Walter. It always winds up as a negative.
My wife learned of this topic on books and gave me one to read..."Being George Washington" by a man named Glenn Beck. It looks interesting...I'll give you a report. Washington was our founding father (you probably know that) like Mao to your people. I like historical works.
Have a good day.

Before I type this reply, I search online about the American Revolutionary War and The Declaration of Independence.Yes, George Washington was your founding father, who led your people win the American Revolutionary War about more than two hundred years ago.
Frankly, I like your Americans, who fought against Nazi Germany and Japanese invaders bravely and optimistically in the world War two. After the WW2, your Government made some wrong decisions about the Korean War and Vietnam War and so on. Your government's role as world policeman is not a good impression in the world people. After the incident September 11th in 2001, many people in the world were glad to see it happened in New York in your country.
I hate the terrorist, because they kill innocent civilians. but you should rethink your government's actions and behaviors. As a bystander, that is my opinions about your people and your government.
As a superpower, your government should rule the world by wisdom, trades, diplomacy, instead of weapons or force.

Gee whiz Walter...that sounds a lot like politics. Does this mean you can talk about my government but I can't talk about yours?

Be friendly please Walter. If those are your views then maybe think them without sharing them as most of us on this message board were upset by nine eleven. I don't want us to end up in an unpleasant debate.
