She has her biopsy next Tuesday but for all intents and purposes it fits the bill.
The dermatologist said the results will be normal/abnormal or melanoma.
By the end of next week we will know.
I won't survive losing her.
I am so worried.
She has just had a fairytale wedding and has 2 beautiful little girls.
Surely God could not be this cruel.
The cousin I lost to cancer started off with the same symptoms.
I am very worried.

My hubby has Squamous cancer. I know exactly how you feel Sue! I know it's easy for me to say, "don't worry" but with this situation you can't help but worry.
You would think that with all the money that goes into research that they would have a couple of cures for certain cancer. Cancer is such a money maker for the government.
Please let us know what happens Sue.

Thanks everyone
I am feeling far more rational this afternoon, my son visited and put those safety chains on my doors. Diesel my husband had both his lips removed with squamous cell carcinoma...melanoma is far more frightening to be mentioned.
This life is so unpredictable.
Thank you again for listening <3

Thank you David thats about all we can do and cross the bridges as they appear. I truly believe in the power of prayer. The dermatologist wanted her to remove her clothing to be examined fully she refused and said she would get her husband to check but after searching Dr Google it appears that this is the normal routine as these things can hide on the soles of your feet to inside your mouth. Still worry is just part of loving someone I guess....but even as though my husband and myself have had lumps removed not once was melanoma mentioned. Jess is in her last year of nursing so she is not silly she is just far more level headed than me. Btw he will be my ex husband on 21/3 and 5 years into our separation, how I wish I could invite you all around for a barbie on my patio...you guys have been through everything with me.
Yes just light candles and pray thats what I am doing but in the end it is His will not ours...

Hi Sue,
Yes I get a total skin check every six months due to the fact I used to have a tanning bed and have many marks on my body that have to be watched and yes I have to fully unclothe and they check my entire body. Your daughter should really let them do this. It is essential. I've been getting this done for years. I also sent hubby for one because he gets out on the boat so much in the sun.
Continued prayers for your daughter.

I certainly ditto what the others have said. Just try to remember...worrying can make you sick...in several ways. Adequate sleep is absolutely necessary...no matter what.

Thank you everyone...we will see what the biopsy brings and then I will have the discussion about a complete skin check, Chelle over here such checks are nearly $200 with medibank giving you back $70, my daughter has never used a tanning bed but we always had a swimming pool.
I have NEVER been able to tell my daughter anything, she is stubborn and strong willed as I was at her age...but not as silly thank goodness.
Yes pray, light candles, keep your fingers and toes crossed what ever you do to create positivity for someone so young, I appreciate it all and I appreciate we all have different ways of doing these things.
Well the neighbour from hell has given me more to think about.
will keep you all in the loop and just hope I am being a drama queen but then again I am mum.
Cheers
