Changing one's mind is very much a part of the human condition and affects , if not all but in my opinion most folk... whether we like it or not.

I first got a computer in 2004 in what was my sixtieth year, in 2005, I came across 'My Therapy' by googling mental health websites... which I found to my delight spoke to my condition.
I therfore became a regular subcriber there until it closed in 2016.
Not everyone liked what I had to say, but then, i think it factual to point out, not all people think the same. And that's fair do's
Never the less I felt comfortable there, otherwise I would'nt have remained an active member for a eleven plus years.

PS., And when it closed I came to this alternaive site created by Hercules and remained an active participant until the last day of December 2021.
It had nothing to do with how it was run and more to me getting on in old age and how I might cope with same.
Eight months down the road, I find my thought processes still don't show cognitive decline, hence my return. Plus the fact I missed being here.
So there you have it in a nut shell!

I do not see why not Walter... for I AM still alive at almost 78. Even though I developed heart disease since aged 50 and diabetes five years ago and I am still of this life.

Thank you, David. I have been on medications since I was 27 years old. I hope I could have a longer lifespan, however, When death comes, I will not be afraid of it. We all , want to live for as long as possible Walter however, that is more determined by many factors in our lives, and not just a personal wish. it is mnore to do with the hereditary... compounded with life style risks. From what I know about you, I believe you are going to be of this life , for many years to come!

David,
Life style and hereditary is important for one's lifespan, also there are something else such as medical care and personal income and so on.
Now, I am almost develope to diabetes and I have to on diet and try my best to avoid dessert.
I try eating some vegetables and meat or chicken. In the some time, I have to drink enough water and take a walk everday in order to have a healthy lifestyle.
