Hearing from you Dee would prove not only to I
but other members also, that this community is
'alive and well', in our outreach work to all who have
embraced both communities since we ere were first
established in 2005... and ongoing, depends on all of
us, who got some sort of positive help since then
emotionally and or friendship wise.
Hopefully both, if that has been at all possible!

Hi David and Chelle. Just trying to deal with everything. right now. I was winning the battle but I am beginning to falter.
No band practice
No work
So, I am picking up a book to read. I haven’t read in ages. I am reading Ghost Story from Steven King’s library. I know once I am immersed in this book things will change. I used to love reading. I used to read at least two books a week but then guitar happened. I never see people reading anymore. I have discovered Podcasts to which are very entertaining and educational. I have to be my best friend now. Hubby is still an A-hole at times and I just can’t deal with being around him all the time. I really need and want to go back to work and practice with the rest of the band at the studio we rent. Got to keep on moving forward. It’s a hard nut for me to crack at times.

Glad that you have found the reading might out you in a better place. I have the Amazon prime and I get to watch free movies so that keeps me busy when I'm bored. Hang in there diesel.

It’s migraine season. Had two migraines back to back. What a horrible nightmare. Took my meds. The first dose didn’t help. Had to take another dose 2 hours later. Back to almost normal now. Whatever the heck normal is!!

I had one specialist tell me that sinus or allergy is somehow related to migraines. I don't know how true that is. I have the allergies and the sinus issues and he tried telling me he thought I had migraines but I don't get headaches at all.
Never went any further with it because I didn't think that was what my problem was. I'm sorry you have to suffer with those.

Hi David and thanks for asking. My migraines are getting a bit better. I am down to about 13/14 a month now compared to 20-25 a month. I have lived a good deal of my life in bed because they are 95% of the time disabling. I have to be in a dark room with quiet. The last migraine I had was really bad. Had a few biting episodes to feel pain elsewhere. I was screaming. The pain was that intense. I take my meds but they can take up to 2 hours to work. 2 hours is excruciating but once the drugs kick in you get 100% relief. I have to be very selective when using this medication. I only am allowed 10 a month which doesn’t last quite long enough.
