I guess whoever comes here from our old crowd knows that I suffer from anxiety and panic attacks. This second lockdown is really getting to me. I have things I can do but everyday is Saturday and I hate it. Trying to keep myself on a soft schedule so I know what I am doing.
Negative on the COVID testing thank god. I sat in my little back bedroom for 3 days and I was fine for a bit and then you know what hit the fan. I got yelled at to get back in my room. I felt like a sad little 5 yr old. That made things worse for me. Getting scolded especially when I didn’t know if I had it or not. My state of mind was very fragile. I thought I would shatter into a million pieces. I managed to hold on and have been white knuckling it through the last couple of days. I am not on edge right now so I am off to play for the rest of the evening. Have a good night everyone. Be careful and be safe!

I cannot speak for others Dee but I am aware the you suffer from anxiety and the associated panic attacks,
A scenario I identify with for that was me for more years than I can remember.
However, now that I'm in my mid-seventies , a lot of my neurotic disposition has receded
for I have got to the stage in my life, whereby nothing quite matters in such a serious way anymore.
I hasten to add I am not, obsessed with the thought of dying but it does crop up in my mind from time to time,
knowing, realistically I'm in the closing chapters of my human existence. So it is that which has mellowed me considerably.
You I believe are in your fifties , so mathematically I am a generation older than you. So it is twenty or more years to early for you to be thinking of your demise. lol
Therefore, hopefully as the years roll on for you, you will get to know peace also.
Until then Dee, hang on in there.
This awful pandemic will conclude as time goes by;
opening up your horizon again , allowing you to breathe again more freely,
and hopefully allow you to become less anxious.
I truly hope that be the case!

PS., and don't forget some form of breathing exercise, for it is medically proven to relieve anxiety but only if done on a regular basis.
A bit like all forms of exercise if they are to be effective!

PPS., and because I've known you now for over a decade
I am aware that you , like me had a dependency on alcohol.
Like you, I used it has an over the counter medicine until
it created more problems than not.
My question to you Dee is do you continue to remain free of same?

I do take CBD oil when I am feeling stressed now and it really helps. It has the minimal amount of THC. I think it’s 3%. It’s negligible. I think the only thing that could happen with this stuff is I become dependent on it. I am good with that. Thx for asking David!

Hi Diesel, I recently had a situation that caused me stress and anxiety. I was not open to medication so my doctor told me to take melatonin and drink chamomile tea. It worked. Made me sleepy but it worked.

Hello everyone. So I found out all about the sudden weight loss and bouts of stomach pain I have experienced. I have pancreatitis. They don’t know how I have developed this. No genetics. I just have to be very careful that it doesn’t get chronic because that could be life threatening.
I have gone from being a vegetarian to a vegan because of my digestive issues. I have been a vegan since February 15 and honestly I really feel better. Some ppl hate vegans because vegans apparently think they’re better then the rest of society. I have told very few ppl. I don’t want any arguments or fights to ensue over this. I did it for my health not to be pompous and high and mighty.

Oh Deisel, I'm so sorry to hear about the pancreatitis. Yes serious! Don't worry about what others say about your diet. You and your doctor's know what's best for you. As long as your getting sufficient amounts of protein you should be ok. You just have to watch your iron as only red meat can give us something called heme iron. But with your pancreatitis they are probably only letting you eat certain things. Get well soon my friend. Prayers going up for you. 🙏🙏🙏🙏

Thx Chelle for your well wishes. The pain level is a lot more tolerant with this life style change. I can’t go backwards. I know what I experienced and I never want to go through that again. I have meds which are helping too.
