Yeah all I can do is pray. It's selfish really. They say that people who were vaccinated that are on immunosuppressant drugs can get the covid because their immunity is down from the drugs they have to take. People who are being treated for cancer, people who have had a transplant etc... For instance I'm on an immune lowering drug for my asthma. It lowers my eosinophils, a type of white blood cell. The docs tell me I'm still getting some immunity from the shot but maybe not what everyone else is getting.
It's a learning curve for scientists at this point. We will learn more as we go with all of this.
Most importantly though, as to why I brought this up is people should respect those who have certain conditions.
I get looked at funny because I'm still wearing masks out. When people do bring it up and they hear why, they are surprised. They learned something. And you can tell in thier eyes that they maybe have changed thier heart. I like to tell everyone if I can as to why I'm still wearing one. People need to know this.
More importantly I wish like you David that they would just go get the damned shot.
