Yes he came on TV last night too David saying that he has lawsuits going but he came on after the judges already through those lawsuits out. I have no clue what's going on except this is all crazy! The man needs to take a chill pill and let the counts be counted and if there is evidence of fraud then he can have a recount period but he doesn't seem to be doing that. what he's doing now is trying to make it so that our votes don't count which is unconstitutional.also causing massive chaos from his supporters as they believe everything he says.

I'm sure you all see the news at what is going on right now. Really sad, really sad! This is domestic terrorism led by this nut bag! Pray for our nation. May God put these people in jail.

Yes very good news. You know I don't trust any of them but I think the better choice won. I mean we had to do something. Ultimately though God is in control I'm going to have faith he is going to work this all out.

I very much agree with what you share Michelle.
The news footage of what occurred the other day culminating in the physical assault on your federal parliament more known in the US as the Capitol... I found abhorrent.
And the instigator in chief no other than, you current president , (thank heaven for the remaining few days), Donald Trump, who refers to himself, the president of law and order... how ironic is that!

They are expecting more riots for joe's swearing in. I hope they are ready for it this time. It's so very sad about the police officer. May god rest his soul. A life lost.....someone's family member and friend. All over conspiracy theories.

PS., I am delighted the house has decided to impeach Trump for his major role inciting his base to breach the security of the Capitol.
Of course he will only be convicted if the Senate are so like minded to endorse same.
Lets hope that be the case!

I agree David. They may try but I think people seeing what is happening to those that did the unthinkable on that day, I mean they are being prosecuted to the fullest extent that people may think twice about doing such again. But never day never. This is a different world that we are living in and so many people are losing thier marbles over some man that can really care less about them according to his very last speach. He drew them in and then chewed them up and spit them out. So sad that we had to experience this behavior as in this should have never happened in the first place.

Biden, Harris speak at memorial to COVID-19 victims ahead of inauguration
On the eve of the new president taking office
I would like to say...
More than any part of tomorrow’s ritual and pageantry,
the brief remarks by Kamala Harris & Joe Biden at today’s
Covid Memorial filled me with hope and gratitude for America’s next chapter.
Biden acknowledged & mourned the deaths of over 400,000 Americans and
reified the trauma and grief of their loved ones.
I was overcome with relief at the realization that the US is being returned to
the care of a leader with genuine humanity and compassion.

Shared at Biden's inauguration...
‘The Hill We Climb’ by Amanda Gorman
When day comes, we ask ourselves where can we find light in this never-ending shade? The loss we carry, a sea we must wade. We’ve braved the belly of the beast. We’ve learned that quiet isn’t always peace, and the norms and notions of what “just” is isn’t always justice. And yet, the dawn is ours before we knew it. Somehow we do it. Somehow we’ve weathered and witnessed a nation that isn’t broken, but simply unfinished. We, the successors of a country and a time where a skinny Black girl descended from slaves and raised by a single mother can dream of becoming president, only to find herself reciting for one.
And yes, we are far from polished, far from pristine, but that doesn’t mean we are striving to form a union that is perfect. We are striving to forge our union with purpose. To compose a country committed to all cultures, colours, characters, and conditions of man. And so we lift our gazes not to what stands between us, but what stands before us. We close the divide because we know, to put our future first, we must first put our differences aside. We lay down our arms so we can reach out our arms to one another. We seek harm to none and harmony for all. Let the globe, if nothing else, say this is true: That even as we grieved, we grew. That even as we hurt, we hoped. That even as we tired, we tried. That we’ll forever be tied together, victorious. Not because we will never again know defeat, but because we will never again sow division.
Scripture tells us to envision that everyone shall sit under their own vine and fig tree and no one shall make them afraid. If we’re to live up to our own time, then victory won’t lie in the blade, but in all the bridges we’ve made. That is the promise to glade, the hill we climb, if only we dare. It’s because being American is more than a pride we inherit. It’s the past we step into and how we repair it. We’ve seen a force that would shatter our nation rather than share it. Would destroy our country if it meant delaying democracy. This effort very nearly succeeded. But while democracy can be periodically delayed, it can never be permanently defeated. In this truth, in this faith, we trust, for while we have our eyes on the future, history has its eyes on us. This is the era of just redemption. We feared it at its inception. We did not feel prepared to be the heirs of such a terrifying hour, but within it, we found the power to author a new chapter, to offer hope and laughter to ourselves. So while once we asked, ‘How could we possibly prevail over catastrophe?’ now we assert, ‘How could catastrophe possibly prevail over us?’
We will not march back to what was, but move to what shall be: A country that is bruised but whole, benevolent but bold, fierce and free. We will not be turned around or interrupted by intimidation because we know our inaction and inertia will be the inheritance of the next generation. Our blunders become their burdens. But one thing is certain: If we merge mercy with might, and might with right, then love becomes our legacy and change, our children’s birthright.
So let us leave behind a country better than the one we were left. With every breath from my bronze-pounded chest, we will raise this wounded world into a wondrous one. We will rise from the golden hills of the west. We will rise from the wind-swept north-east where our forefathers first realized revolution. We will rise from the lake-rimmed cities of the midwestern states. We will rise from the sun-baked south. We will rebuild, reconcile, and recover. In every known nook of our nation, in every corner called our country, our people, diverse and beautiful, will emerge, battered and beautiful. When day comes, we step out of the shade, aflame and unafraid. The new dawn blooms as we free it. For there is always light, if only we’re brave enough to see it. If only we’re brave enough to be it.
Ms Gorman said of the poem: “In my poem, I’m not going to in any way gloss over what we’ve seen over the past few weeks and, dare I say, the past few years. But what I really aspire to do in the poem is to be able to use my words to envision a way in which our country can still come together and can still heal.
“It’s doing that in a way that is not erasing or neglecting the harsh truths I think America needs to reconcile with.”
