I was peversely hoping Trump would win so the US would turn to chaos and USA would finally learn a lesson not to vote for celebrities with no experience into office.
However I heard yesterday there 85 000 Covid cases diagnosed in the US in 24 hours. That is staggering. Trump needs to go or an extra 100 or 200 thousand people could die. This election in the US is about life and death. Trump needs to be voted out to avoid hundreds of thousands dieing in the US.
I wish Jacinda would denounce him.

I could not agree more Hercules re the possibility of him being turfed out.
And yes he could have learned a lot had he followed Jacinda Ardern example.
For New Zealand has been exemplary on all matters Covid!

PS., His record on the corona virus denial is not only abysmal
which has largely contributed to the record deaths within the US...
There are so many other failures attributed to his presidency such
as his racism, misogyny, chronic misrepresentation of scientific facts
when it comes to not only Covid 19 but also global warming and much more besides.
There are also his paltry federal tax payments, (over many years), despite the fact he is purported to be a billionaire!

Hercs, the news you may have been hearing is only the his supporters. We have half of the nation over here wanting him out. Maybe more. Please know that there are a whole slew of Americans wanting him out. We are unhappy over here. His administration announced a few days ago that they will no longer be trying to control the virus. They want us all to get it I guess. Problem is, with my lungs I will die if I get it. Also he is trying to get rid of our affordable care act which gives hospitization to people with pre existing conditions and for people who cannot afford insurance. He is taking it into court on November 10th trying to have it ended for us. He is doing this because he hates obama. Obama is the one who created it. I will not have coverage if he is successful in ridding of it. 😭 It is like hell living over here right now. People have gone nuts. His supporters supporters are blocking streets with thier stupid flags. They ate also fighting with business owners over wearing masks. They are a sick cult. I think he is going to steal the election somehow. He's trying to have ballots thrown out from the mail in voting now in courts also. I have a feeling that next week the country is going to be in a lot of civil unrest and it's not going to be safe. It's very scarey because I think the man wants to take over as a dictatorship. But that is my thoughts. All of us non supporters are very miserable over here.also herc, Hillary actually won the popular vote. That means the people's vote. We have an electoral collage in which they are the ones who put him in office. We need to rid of this electoral thing.

Extracted from the Washington Post....
The million-dollar question on the election’s eve: Who is left to vote?
After weeks of record-breaking participation in early and mail voting in dozens of states, one critical question remains on the eve of the 2020 presidential election: Who is left to vote?
More than 98 million Americans had cast ballots by Monday evening, an astonishing figure equal to about 70 percent of the total turnout four years ago —
leaving election officials, the campaigns and the public overall wondering how heavy voting traffic would be on Tuesday.

We may not get the full count till the end of the week due to mail in ballots. Due to covid 19 they allowed people to have a choice to mail in. I did absentee but I took l mine to the board in person. So there are people who mailed them in through postal service and as long as they were postmarked for Nov 3 they need to be counted. this is what is holding up the election. Most mail in people are democrat supporters because they are afraid of catching the virus and did not want to stand in line. The republican told people it's a hoax and not a dangerous virus so they will go stand in lines. All those mail ins might take until Friday. Also we have electoral college and democrat can win with that possibly. That is how republican won last election by the electoral college. Last night he went on tv saying he wants all votes to stop and that he won even though ballots are still being counted. Says he is taking it to supreme court. It's unlawful to take away an american citizens right to have thier vote counted so states are saying no way we are counting. Don't be surprised if we don't hear anything for a few days due to the counting of ballots and the fact that so many more Americans have voted in this election than others. Lol but expect him to throw a fit because he is inpatient and does not want to lose. Also before election he went to courts in some states to have votes to not be counted after a time frame and some judges did it for him but other states would not. It's really messed up.

After this election the corona is going to be even 10 times worse and I expect more protesting no matter who wins. We are corona infested over here and it's a damn shame.

No, I had missed it Michelle so thank you for reminding of same.
How irresponsible, I go further and say recklessly criminal is such a measure. The latest update on the election is That Biden is only six electoral college votes to win. I hope and pray that will be the outcome.

Donald Trump has doubled down on his voter fraud claims as the US presidential election appears to slip away from his grasp.
In a speech at the White House, Mr Trump said: “If you count the legal votes, I easily win."
The Trump campaign has provided no evidence to their baseless claims that the votes coming in from absentee ballots were cast fraudulently. States like Georgia, Nevada, and Pennsylvania have taken longer to call because of absentee ballots, but that is just because it takes workers longer to count those votes, not because of “voter fraud”.
Since absentee ballots take longer to count over in-person ballots, Mr Trump looked like he held a strong lead in states like Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Georgia. But Americans who voted by mail tend to sway towards Democratic candidate Joe Biden, swinging those states back towards the candidate as they come in.
Mr Trump’s lead has significantly diminished in Pennsylvania and Georgia on Thursday as more votes come in. Victory for Mr Biden in Georgia
– if his projected win in Arizona holds – or in Pennsylvania would propel him into the White House....
“We continue to feel very good about where things stand." Mr Biden said in Wilmington, Delaware, on Thursday.
"We have no doubt that when the count is finished, Senator Harris and I will be declared the winners.”
