My weight, my horrible little hand surgeon suggested my hand would heal better if I "ummmm.....was more fit"....I thought you arrogant little pratt, I was FURIOUS...his first surgery was an abomination...screws attempting to escape from my flesh...his second not much better...but I just kept it within and on the hour train ride home I thought that horrid little man has a point...so I have started on the regime the young girls here use before they get married, it is a meal replacement product but it keeps you full and I have lost 5 kgs so far...if you are familiar with BMI I am 1 point over the overweight category classing me as obese. Pdoc is pleased with my progress. I have even managed to be careful over Christmas. I may have a day or 2 off a week depending on what is happening but thats ok it still means I am on the program 5-6 days a week. I still cant exercise as I have a knee problem I see the gp about today.

I trust you get down to a weight you are content with Sue and your ongoing chronic problems become less troblesome in 2017.
Here's hoping your GP appointment today has a positive outcome.

Yes our health is so important, my friend had 2 strokes last year, a bit of a wake up call. Thank you for enquiring David the gp has given me Brufen for my knee and we will reassess it in 3 weeks but it is helping. Yes I will try and stay upright this year and not fracture anything...lol They did a bone density and found I was clumsy and did not have a bone problem and pdoc has cut down my antips...so I am on less medication which is always good.

Changes? Hmmmmmmmmmmm! I have to get my butt back to the gym. I need to make time to start doing some light weights and Zumba which I love. This will mean I have to start my day a lot earlier then before. I will need to get up at 6, go to the gym, come back home, shower and then to work. Rehearsal every Friday, must practice a lot of hours as well.
Quit freaking out over my husband's health. It's hard though to watch someone deteriorate right before your very eyes. I could honestly do with a Valium or two at times but knowing my addictive behaviors I would depend on them too much. Better to try and deal with things with a clear head instead of medicated.

I really don't have anything to change about me. I am quite in love with the way life is going except for a little incident that happened awhile ago.
I feel very grounded because of my connections with my music and hanging out with like minded people. It's actually the happiest time in my life so far.
It's almost 5 years ago that I stopped drinking and never once fell off the wagon. YEAH me! I will never slip or fail because I won't let myself. I never even think about it let alone want to ever drink. I already wasted enough of my life so now it's time to get on with the show!
