I have been thinking about this already before we finished the last book club selection.
My choices are: 1. Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone by R.K. Rowling. ( Because of my 20 year break from reading fiction I haven't read this yet.)
2. I Know This Much is True by Wally Lamb ( I have suggested this one before but feel free to ignore it.)
3. Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden
I think your idea of three choices is better than two so I have adapted that in my options. Do your research and pick whenever you'd like, We still have a long way to go before Feb. 19th.

Can you make two extra suggestions. I have seen the movie "confessions of a geisha girl" and I have seen the movie "HArry Pottery and the Philosopher's stone".

Hi Hercules,
My two choices are 1. Stones from the River by Ursula Hegi and 2. The Poisonwood Bible by Barbara Kingsolver. Take as much time to choose because I don't know if these two are books that I will enjoy, I am picking them because I own copies of them, and because of the Oprah endorsement.
What do you think of Oprah by the way, Hercules?

1. Stones from the River by Ursula Hegi
Is my selection.
Oprah is a good person but she should not be running for president.

It is my turn to pick this book. Shall we just stick with Stone from a River? Or do you want me to pick two other books for you to select from?

I have completed 19 books this year so far as my records show on Goodreads. But there were several books that I didn't finish. My goal this year was to read 20 books so I will be done soon with my challenge. Next year I will set a higher goal for myself.

Hi Hercules,
My other two selections are: The Help by Kathryn Stockett and The Best Kind of People by Zoe Whittall.
I hope you find something you'll like to read along with me. Is there anyone else interested in joining us this time around? The more the merrier!

Ok, this book it is. Do you want to let me know when the book arrives at your house then we will give each other two months to read it before we discuss it.
Happy Reading Hercules.

I could definitely wait for you to continue with the book. I am in no hurry to read it. We will have two months to finish it so it depends on our reading speed and how much we are getting into the story line.
