How will you be spending the day?
Have you been shopping yet?
I am pretty much done all my shopping, we did it a few weeks ago.
I have had a long year so I hope I recover my energy over these holidays.
So far so good. Already feeling better.
Cheers

Merry Christmas to you Herc. We will be experiencing the first sub-zero temps of the season on that day. I've cut enough wood to keep us good over winter...let it come.
BTW...congrats: Jacinda Kate Laurell Ardern sounds like a great leader. You're lucky.

Thanks Keith,
She has been a 'star' her whole life since a young age. She didn't seek the leadership of the labour party. It sought her out. Very inspirational orator when she puts her mind to being inspirational. Most of the time however she concentrates on just being "clear and crisp" with anything she has to say.

I will not be doing anything special on Christmas Day.
We are having a party to celebrate Christmas tomorrow. A dinner party.
I will exchange gifts with my friends tomorrow when they come over.
Will report how the party went after the fact.
Christmas shopping was done months ago.
Looking forward to this years Christmas, hopefully doing more reading of East of Eden.

PS., Don and I will be at my home for Christmas
and then up to Scotland for Hogmanay.
Hogmanay is the Scots word for the last day of the year and is synonymous with the celebration of the New Year in the Scottish manner.

Shopping and wrapping is finished. Pies and blonde brownies are prepared to go to my son's in the morning, along with a ham and a few other noshes. Gifts have already been sent up there, and we'll have about 15 of us for a late lunch tomorrow.
Hope all here have wonderful holidays and a safe New Year. Thanks for good wishes.
Jane

Wishing everyone the best of the season. I am tired and worn out. Work just too many hours. Eat, sleep, band rehearsals and work.
I did get a gym membership but I don't know how I will fit this into my schedule but I will. It's extremely important to me to be healthy and strong.
Today will be one helluva day. Working a double shift today. Then have to come home an get caught up on prep for Christmas day snacks and turkey dinner, then bed. I could sleep for a week if given the opportunity.
Take care everyone. I will be back sooner then later.

Merry Christmas to you all.
I don't have any special plans for tonight or tomorrow. Just an ordinary day except I have one gift to open. Will probably be reading a lot of the time.
Hope you all get to spend it with family and friends who are important to you.
