Maybe, God and Buddha are Almighty who will save us from the bitterness and sufferings.
God may give you an after life. you may be cloned and you will have a twin brother or sister.

Hi,Hercules There is an Indian Legend named Ramayana. Some Chinese social scholars have translated it into Chinese. Probably, it has been translated into English.
I am not sure whether Rama changed his name to Buddha or not.
In China, there are a lot of Monks or Buddhism followers to learn or to study the books of Buddhism. They hope they will have a nice or wonderful after life.

Chat GPT says
No, Lord Rama from Hindu mythology did not become Buddha. These are two distinct figures from different religious traditions and historical contexts.
Lord Rama: He is a central figure in Hinduism, revered as an avatar of the god Vishnu. He is the protagonist of the ancient Indian epic, the Ramayana, which narrates his life and adventures. Lord Rama is considered a divine figure and is worshipped by millions of Hindus worldwide.
Buddha (Gautama Buddha): Siddhartha Gautama, commonly known as the Buddha, was a spiritual teacher who lived in ancient India. He is the founder of Buddhism and is revered as an enlightened being who attained Nirvana, a state of liberation from suffering. Buddha's teachings form the basis of Buddhism, emphasizing the Four Noble Truths and the Eightfold Path.
The confusion might arise from a concept in some spiritual traditions that great souls or avatars reincarnate in different forms over time. However, within their respective religious and historical contexts, Lord Rama and Buddha are distinct personalities with different roles, teachings, and followers.
