Here in the UK it is diabolical!

Fortunately, I watch the pennies in that I am quite frugal when it comes to spending, ther than essentials and therefore have built up some.savings.
However the cost of almost everything in recent tmes is quickly eroding same.
Are you in a smilar position...

We now have a new prime minister here in the UK and it s widely publiced she Will cap the amount individuals will pay for their household energy.
A bit of good news for families whoare feeling the crunch... along with soaring food prices.

I heard of the inflation all over the world in recent years.
Some Chinese economists says people in China could buy houses or some rare metal to overcome the inflation.

I think you are right Walter, for Property and Gold are generally seen as inflation proof , unkike the value of money# which goes up nd down, in world/global markets.

I belong to working class and I am not affected by the inflation greatly.
I think the inflation affects Europe and America a lot.

Walter,You are right in what you say here. the cost of energy and food being the main reason.
I think China is more self sufficient and therefore more protected than Europe and the US to name a few of the many that are affected world wide.
And the war in Ukraine does not help the situation!

Food is very high. The gasoline went down a little bit so that helps. Our dollar stores just went up to $1.25 per item. No longer a bargain. Everything in the stores is much higher.

The rate of unemployment in China is higher than that it was in 2019.
Actually, every nation is the victim of the Pandemic.
The world economy is in a depression and if the Pandemic will be over in 1-2 years, the world economy will recover.
I get a wage cut because the Pandemic.
