This well worn quote attributed to Alfred Lord Tennyson
After a particularly painful break-up it may be difficult to understand the logic behind his words..
“It is better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all”.
Phycologists have confirmed you’re right to question the famous poet’s wisdom as they’ve uncovered some flaws in his age-old theory.
Turns out those who have never actually loved at all are just as happy as those who have loved, lost and got the break-up scars to prove it.

I think it was Marcus Aurelius who wrote... 'We are what our thoughts make us'
How profound is that?

A lesson in life I learned over time, I share with you...
Affinity, communication and empathy for the human condition is what binds us and keeps the soul in a state of wonderment.
For nothing is constant in this life for we keep evolving throughout our life span.
What I am getting at is .... it is not life's hurdles but how we respond to same that really matters.

'Whenever two people meet, there are really six people present. There is each man as he sees himself... each man as the other person sees him, and each man as he really is.'
-William James, psychologist and philosopher (11 Jan 1842-1910)

Our lives can be complicated as we all know from personal experience... but wherever possible keep things simple.; easier said than done , but it does work. if you work it with such a positive attitude in mind.

Sometimes, you have to forget what has gone on before in your life and move on. if that be at all possible, in order to enhance the quality of your life.
Something I only came to terms with in my later years. I trust such a thought will dawn on you much earlier.

Contributing here a little more frequently... wouldn't go amiss, given that most the time I'm the only one keeping the show on the road!
