I think you might like this Michelle
I'm here for a short visit only,
And I'd rather be loved than hated.
Eternity may be lonely
When my body's disintegrated;
And that which is loosely termed my soul
Goes whizzing off through the infinite
By means of some vague remote control....
I'd like to think I was missed a bit.

Will Apple’s image-scan plan protect children or just threaten privacy?
Once upon a time, updates of computer operating systems were of interest only to geeks. No longer – at least in relation to Apple’s operating systems, iOS and Mac OS. You may recall how Version 14.5 of iOS, which required users to opt in to tracking, had the online advertising racketeers in a tizzy while their stout ally, Facebook, stood up for them. Now, the forthcoming version of iOS has libertarians, privacy campaigners and “thin-end-of-the-wedge” worriers in a spin.

Hello David, It's that time of year. I have been battling with sinus infection and bronchitis for the past month. I'm sorry if I worried you. Reading about Afghanistan and wow! I hope you are doing well.

Thank you for thinking of me and my wellbeing David. That is very heartwarming. Still battling this thing. The Afghanistan situation is on my mind. I feel so bad for the citizens who are trying to leave. I think it's wrong that we are leaving them like this. 20. Years of a normal life and now back to this. It's also a threat to the world.

I cannot help but agree with what you say about such an abrupt withdrawal.. it should have been a much more measured approach diplomatically speaking. to reduce the current mayhem that has arisen since.

Yes I agree David. You would think they they would have had some kind of plan to make sure this would not happen. Even if it meant the withdrawal would have taken a lot longer.
We went in there so many years ago, all that hard work and costs etc... Why just throw all that away? They knew it would take many years to totally transform that country. I'm a little bit disappointed at Biden for this right now.
I'm also disappointed at him about this covid situation over here again. Yes he did something but not enough. Everyone has been running a Muck doing huge gatherings all summer long. They lifted the mask mandate etc..
I guess he's better than what we had but it's like we will never see our freedom to out like we used to. I'm so done with this covid BS.
